Just When You Thought You Knew Me...

Yes, it is another tag. I hope you are not tired of getting to know me. I tag Stephenie, Jessica, Allison, Rachel, and Trisha.

I am-sentimental, predictable, practical, loyal, sensitive, and a worrier.
I want-a white Toyota Sienna minivan, but will drive my Accord until it dies.
I have-never sent a text message before.
I wish-the election was over with already.
I hate-heights, bridges, clowns, and Furbies.
I fear-what kind of world my children will grow up in.
I hear-the dryer running and the dishwasher gurgling. Laundry and dishes never end!
I search-for all the things Justin and Parker lose on a daily basis. What would they do without me?!?! :)
I wonder-what to make for dinner.
I always-watch "The Office" and "30 Rock" on Thursday nights.
I usually-get tired around 2pm and want a nap.
I am not-spontaneous. I am such a planner and have a hard time doing things or changing plans at the last minute.
I dance-whenever I can!
I sing-only in the car by myself.
I never-wear a watch. It stresses me out.
I rarely-am late.
I cry-every time I watch "A Baby Story".
I am not always-patient.
I lose-a quarter to Parker every time I say a "bad" word.
I am confused-as to why people love their cell phones. I don't want anyone bugging me when I am out and about.
I need-a haircut.
I dream-and always have to tell Justin about them. One of my reoccurring dreams involves my teeth falling out.

So I Am A Little Weird...

My cousin, Kassi, tagged me about a month ago. Rules: List 6 quirks and tag 6 bloggers.

1. I like to clean, vacuum, and LOVE to mow the lawn. I am OCD about vacuum lines but am getting much better with therapy.

2. I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and very good eyesight.

3. I can recall the most random things—memories starting at age 3, phone numbers I've dialed once, birthdays, lyrics from songs, etc.

4. I have been known to carry on conversations while I sleep and I used to sleep walk as a child.

5. I have a fear of being pooped on by seagulls. Sorry Mormon ancestors, but seagulls suck! This fear goes back to my days in high school being exposed in the quad at lunch.

6. I love to hate scary movies—can't stand to watch them, but secretly peek through my fingers. Scariest movies I've seen: What Lies Beneath and Watcher in the Woods.

I tag Ali, Jill, Judi, Karlee, Leslie, and Michelle.

Where's the Beef?

In his attempts to make Krabby Patties, Parker became a fry cook tonight. I think he may be watching a little too much Spongebob, but it was nice to have the help. It also seemed that he was a little more motivated to eat dinner. We didn't have our normal "sit down and eat!" evening.

I just have to laugh all the time at Parker. He comes up with the craziest stuff. The other day he asked me how long we are going to have our Prop 8 sign up and it started this whole discussion about the election and voting on the way to school. Right as I am about to drop him off, he tells me, "I wouldn't vote for that old guy. I would vote for the black one." When I asked him why, he said, "He just looks better to me." I told him that you don't vote for who looks the best, but for what they stand for. I didn't even realize he knew who was running for President. Don't tell Mama, Parker's voting for Obama!

4 Months Old!

These past few months have flown by! Spencer turned 4 months old last week. He is just about the sweetest, most happy and content baby ever. It scares me to think what the next one could be like! He is about ready to start rolling over, loves drinking from his sippy cup, and goes to town on his cold teething ring.

Spencer also loves sitting in his saucer and discovering his toys.

Spencer just adores Parker and laughs at his every move and Parker loves the attention he is getting from him.

The boys in their doggy jammies.

We have Spencer's 4 month check up next week where we will find out if he is big enough to start eating rice cereal. He loves watching us eat and drink and wants to be at the table with us, so I think it may be time to get out the high chair. It is amazing to think that a year ago tomorrow is when we found out we were pregnant. It has been an incredible year for our family and we feel so blessed to have this sweet little boy in our family.

Fall Frenzy

It is finally beginning to feel like Fall around here. We've been sleeping with the windows open enjoying the cool crisp air at night. Parker is excited because Halloween--his FAVORITE holiday--is just around the corner. Each year we decorate our house, inside and out, with all of the spooky stuff we have collected. Our buckets of Halloween stuff is nearing the amount of our Christmas buckets.

Here is our porch entry:

This is what is on the porch:

This guy freaks me out--I can't look out the peephole at night with him standing there.

This is one of our most recent additions, the ghost lights:

Let the countdown to Halloween begin!

A Visit From the Tooth Fairy

Parker is a dollar richer after losing his 5th tooth Wednesday night with a little help from Dr. Mom. I was surprised that he let me help.

Say Cheese!

While Jill and her family were here in July, we finally had a family picture taken. The last one that was professionally done was when I was 2 and Jill was 1--no joke!

Our Miracle Has Arrived!
