We had the most amazing Labor Day adventure at Twin Lakes Beach in Santa Cruz. We made the journey with 2 other families, the Moomey's and the Grays. 
The weather was beautiful--warm and sunny with a slight ocean breeze, just enough to cool you off. The kids had the best time digging for sand crabs, building sand castles, and playing in the waves.

The guys swam out beyond the breakers and also tried out the boogey board.
Spencer loved his first trip to the beach. The sounds of the waves kept him asleep for most of the trip.

Ah, Lucille. How could I forget? Still need to watch season four. Speaking of season four, The Office came out yesterday!! We need to have a marathon while the kids are at school!
Ahh, what would we do without that show? Looks like you all had some fun!
I sure do miss the beach and those pictures make me even more home sick. The kids sure are cute.
What a perfect day in the sun! We love the beach too. Spencer is getting so big!
