A Day by the Bay

A few weeks ago, Justin bravely went with Parker's second grade class to the California Academy of Science Exhibit in Golden Gate Park. Truth be told, I think he was just as excited as Parker to see what animals they had, particularly in the fresh water fish department.

They had a great day exploring the different exhibits. Parker especially enjoyed the hands-on experiences with the sea anemones and starfish. He was also bound and determined to catch a butterfly in the rainforest sphere, but ended up leaving empty handed. Lucky for the butterflies! The highlight of the trip for Parker was driving home across the Golden Gate Bridge and past San Quentin Prison.
