Cabin fever is no fun! After being down all week with the flu, Parker and I got the chance to spend a few glorious hours basking in the warm California sunshine. We spent the afternoon playing with some friends. The kids started out building rivers and trenches...but when you mix dirt with water, who can resist?!? They had so much fun sliding head first in the mud and all of them managed to end up completely covered from head to toe. Parker claims "It was the best day ever!!!" Oh, to be a kid again!

That is the best! My mom used to let my siblings and I do the same thing! She was the best Mom like you!! I can't bring myself to let my kids do this, what does that make me? You have inspired me to let go! Bring on the mud.
